Driver killed in one-vehicle accident near Seligman

One person is dead following a one-vehicle accident on Farm Road 1075 about a mile north of Seligman, MO shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 29-year-old male from Horatio, Arkansas was fatally injured after his northbound 2013 Toyota Highlander traveled off the left side of the road and hit an embankment.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Barry County Coroner Gary Swearingen at 5:25 p.m.

It was Southwest Missouri Troop D's 25th fatality of 2025.
