Motorcycle accident in Barry County injures rider from Joplin

A motorcycle rider from Joplin was injured in an accident on Missouri 86 in Barry County Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a westbound 2005 Yamaha Roadstar operated by 71-year-old Frank E. McLean of Joplin went off the right side of the road and overturned.

McLean was wearing a safety device.

He was transported to Mercy-Joplin hospital with moderate injuries.
