Neosho man seriously injured in ATV accident

There was an all terrain vehicle (ATV) accident on Highway B, about 8 and 1/2 miles west of Goodman in McDonald County yesterday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened when the driver, 50-year-old Michael D. Castleberry of Neosho overcorrected his westbound ATV and was ejected from it.

Castleberry was not wearing a safety device.

He suffered serious injuries.

He was taken by Med-Flight helicopter to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
