Motorcyle-SUV accident injures two from Webb City, one seriously

Two Webb City, Missouri residents were injured in a traffic accident on Route TT, four miles west of Crane in Barry County.

It happened Thursday around 2:50 in the afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2007 Honda motorcycle operated by 33-year-old Casey G. Bacal of Webb City was attempting to pass another vehicle when a 2010 Toyota Tundra, operated by 44-year-old Linden W. Ballard of of Crane, also attempted to pass the vehicle,

That caused the Toyota to be sideswiped by the motorcycle.

Casey Bacal had moderate injuries.

A passenger on the motorcycle, 34-year-old Jessica Bacal of Webb City suffered serious injuries.

She was transported to Springfield Mercy Hospital by Lifeflight.

Linden was not injured.
