Pedestrian hit by pickup truck on south Range Line Road Saturday afternoon

A vehicle hit a pedestrian on south Range Line Road in Joplin Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. in the area of 29th and Range Line.
Police reportedly say witnesses saw a person in the middle of the road, who then tried to cross the northbound lane when he was struck by a pickup truck.
The victim, reportedly an adult male, was taken by EMS to a Joplin hospital, reportedly on priority one status.
