City of Joplin requesting proposals for Dover Outdoor Recreation Area Bicycle Park

The City of Joplin is requesting proposals for a new Dover Outdoor Recreation Area Bicycle Park.
It would include 10 miles of single Bicycle Track and a BMX track along with parking lots, restrooms, security cameras and lighting and more.
The Park would be located on 95 acres near the Dover Hill area.
Funding would come from a Missouri Department of Economic Development ARPA Grant.
The target date for completion is June of 2026.
