St. Louis authorities say 4 teens have escaped from a juvenile detention facility.

St. Louis area authorities say four teenagers escaped a juvenile detention facility Saturday night.

KSDK TV reports the incident started when a 17-year-old boy being held at the Juvenile Detention Facility asked to get a drink of water shortly before midnight.

He was released from a cell, then entered a control room and unlocked other cells.

At that point, three other teenage boys between the ages of 13 and 17 left their cells.

This is the second time juveniles have escaped.  The last time was July 3rd.
