Increased MO gas tax can't go to the general fund

After the recent passage of an increase in the Missouri gas tax, some questioned whether the funds would have to be used on road related expenses.    Missouri State Senator Bill White of Joplin told the KZRG Morning News Watch “It’s in the constitution how this money can be spent.”

White said the funds could not go into the Missouri general revenue fund.
