May is bicycle safety month

May is bicycle safety month.   The Missouri State Highway Patrol reminds both motorists and bicyclists to stay alert and to be courteous.   The patrol says that those riding bicycles are required to know the law regarding operating a bicycle and how to be a safe rider.
