Newton County Sheriff's Office seeking sex offender who failed to notify law enforcement of residence change

A sex offender previously registered in Newton County has changed his residency but failed to notify law enforcement as required, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page.

51-year-old Jim McKelvey is a white male, five foot nine inches tall. weighs 380 pounds, and has black/gray-white hair.

He is believed to be living NW Arkansas.

The original offense occurred back in 2002, which involved a 13-year-old in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
