The City of Neosho's budget is much higher for 2021

There will be an increase in the Neosho Budget, and it’s a big one.  The Neosho City Council adopted it’s 2021 budget with about $4 million more in spending than the current budget.

Part of the increase is $400,000 for new water meters downtown and almost $250,000 for police officers and firefighters raises. The city's fiscal year begins on Oct. 1.
