Missouri Labor Day highway death toll up from 2019

Figures are in from the 2020 Labor Day weekend on Missouri highways and waterways.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 13 people died in traffic crashes. That compares to nine fatalities last year.

The patrol says 124 people were injured this year.

145 people were arrested for DWIs and 89 arrested for drugs.

On Missouri’s waterways, there were 7 BWIs and 12 drug arrests but there were no drownings or other fatalities.
