Teenage Driver Hurt In Carthage Crash

A teenage driver from Carthage was hurt in an accident when she ran off the road Tuesday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG 17-year-old Emma Bollinger was eastbound on Locust Road, east of Carthage, just before 7 o'clock when she hydroplaned, and ran off the road, causing her to crash into the ditch before coming to a rest in a field.

She was transported to a Joplin hospital with moderate injuries.
