Pedestrian Hit In Lawrence County

A pedestrian has been hospitalized after she was hit while walking along the road in Lawrence County, but she's expected to be okay.

Troopers say 35-year-old Kashina Bergesch of Auora was actually walking in the road on County Road 2220 near Monett around 5:30 Thursday morning when she was hit by a pickup driven by Clarence Nelson.

Bergesch was transported to Cox in Monett with moderate injuries.
