Joplin man faces rape, sodomy charges

Joplin man faces rape, sodomy charges

A 32-year-old man from Joplin has been taken into custody on child sex crimes. James Myers now faces two counts of first degree statutory rape and one count of first degree statutory sodomy. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office says the crimes involved two seven-year-old girls. He is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond.
