Too Much Pot For The Mail Slot

Some foul smelling mail caused a Joplin apartment manager to call police on Monday. 27-year-old Deshon Cowling was arrested after he went to pick up a package from the front desk at the Northpark Apartments that was left there by the mail man because it was too large for the mail slot. Inside the box was more than two pounds of marijuana. The manager called police because it smelled suspicious. Cowling was charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
