MISSOURI – Two Republican incumbents representing Southwest (District 7) and west-central (District 4) Missouri have won reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday night, as both congressional races have officially been called.

U.S. Rep. Eric Burlison has won Missouri's 7th Congressional District, while U.S. Rep. Mark Alford has secured another term representing the 4th Congressional District.

Burlison represents Missouri's 7th District, which includes the Joplin and Springfield areas. He is seeking to continue his service in Congress after first being elected in 2022.

Burlison faced Democratic candidate Missi Hesketh and Libertarian candidate Kevin Craig in the 7th District race. The Associated Press previously reported Burlison's reelection in 2024, and he has served in Congress since 2023.

In the 4th District, Alford defeated Democratic candidate Jordan Herrera and Libertarian candidate Thomas Holbrook. Alford, a former television news anchor, was first elected to Congress in 2022.

Both incumbents will continue representing their respective Missouri congressional districts in the U.S. House following Tuesday's election
