JOPLIN, Mo. — Families looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween will have an opportunity to enjoy an evening of candy, costumes and community spirit as 24 Elite hosts its annual Trunk-or-Treat event Friday, Oct. 30.
The event is scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. at 530 S. Northpark Lane in Joplin and is open to the public.

The events often bring together businesses, organizations and residents to create a welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
As Halloween approaches, events throughout the Joplin area give residents additional ways to celebrate the holiday. With costumes, candy and themed decorations often playing a central role, trunk-or-treat gatherings have become a familiar part of the fall festivities for many communities.
