Joplin Library hosts annual writers faire
What do you think?
The Joplin Public Library will host the 10th annual Joplin Writers' Faire on Saturday, bringing together dozens of local and regional writers and creators.
The free, all-ages event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library and will feature 50 booths, making this year's event the largest Writers' Faire yet.
You will be able to meet authors and creators, purchase signed books and take part in activities including poetry-on-demand and door prizes.
Writers will represent a range of genres, including children's literature, comics, fiction, graphic novels, journalism, memoir, nonfiction, poetry and zines.
The annual event is organized by the Joplin Public Library and Post Art Library and is designed to connect writers with readers while supporting local and regional authors.
