Seneca PTO to celebrate new shade structure with ribbon-cutting ceremony

SENECA, Mo. — Seneca PTO is excited to announce the completion of a new outdoor shade structure and will celebrate the project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 24th.
The new shade structure provides students with a comfortable, shaded outdoor space where they can gather, play, and enjoy time outside while being protected from the sun.
The project was made possible through the generosity and support of local businesses and community organizations that continue to invest in Seneca students and schools.
Seneca PTO would like to recognize and thank: Four State Heating & Air Co; 4 State Keys; Wyandotte Nation; Branco Enterprises; Modoc Nation; Ranch Soroptimist International of Joplin; Courtney’s Candles & Creations New-Mac Electric; Close-Maffei McDonalds and; Hometown Pediatrics
"We are so excited to see this project come together! We couldn’t have done it without the amazing support of our school, local businesses, and community. We are so thankful to everyone who helped make it happen, and we can’t wait to see our students and staff enjoying this new space for years to come," said Courtney Barnard of the Seneca PTO.
Community partners, school representatives, donors, families, and friends are invited to join the PTO for the ribbon cutting and help celebrate the completion of the project.
