Current Burn Bans across the Four-State Area

As dry conditions continue across portions of the Four-State Area, burn restrictions remain in effect in several counties, while others have lifted their bans or currently have no restrictions.

The following is the latest information available on burn bans across southwest Missouri, southeast Kansas, northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.

Missouri

Jasper County: Burn ban lifted effective September 21.
Vernon County: N/A.
Barton County: Burn ban remains in effect.
Newton County: No burn ban has been issued.
McDonald County: Burn ban has been in effect since August 27.
St. Clair County: No burn ban.
Cedar County: Burn ban has been in effect since August 31.
Dade County: Burn ban has been in effect since September 8.
Lawrence County: Burn ban has been in effect since September 4.
Barry County: Burn ban has been in effect since September 10.
Polk County: Burn ban has been in effect since September 4.
Greene County: No burn ban..

Kansas

Woodson County: No burn ban.
Wilson County: No burn ban.
Montgomery County: No burn ban.
Linn County: No burn ban as of last week.
Bourbon County: No burn ban effective September 14.
Crawford County: N/A.
Coffey County: Burn ban was lifted September 1
Cherokee County: No Burn Ban

Oklahoma

Washington County: Burn ban is currently in effect.
Nowata County: Burn ban is in effect through October 5.
Rogers County: Burn ban was renewed last Monday and is in effect through October 5.
Craig County: Burn ban has been effective since the end of August.
Mayes County: Burn ban ended September 21.
Ottawa County: Burn ban is currently in effect.
Delaware County: Burn ban has been extended through September 29.

Arkansas

Benton County: No burn ban.
