Purdy man killed in crash near Monett Sunday afternoon

A 62-year-old man from Purdy, Missouri, died Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Barry County.
The Highway Patrol says the crash happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. at County Road 1090 and Missouri Route BB.
The vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign on County Road 1090 and was struck by a second vehicle. The impact caused the second vehicle to overturn.
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to Cox Monett Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
