"I have a serious mental problem": Court records detail graphic allegations against Stotts City man

A 31-year-old Stotts City, Missouri, man is being held without bond after Lawrence County prosecutors charged him with multiple felony offenses involving a child, child sexual abuse material and an animal.
Tannon Park is charged with first-degree child molestation, first-degree promoting child pornography, first-degree possession of child pornography and sex with an animal.
According to a probable cause statement (GRAPHIC CONTENT), deputies were dispatched Wednesday after reports of a man lying in a roadway in Stotts City.
Investigators said Park later told first responders he wanted to turn himself in, and during an interview with detectives allegedly made statements admitting to several criminal acts involving a child under the age of 14, animals and child sexual abuse material.
Detectives also allege Park admitted destroying potential evidence before his arrest.
The new case comes less than two months after Park was charged with five counts of animal abuse following a separate investigation in June.
According to that earlier probable cause statement, Lawrence County deputies responding to a welfare check found five dogs chained around Park's property that appeared severely underweight, with their ribs visible and little or no food or water available. Investigators said Park declined to discuss the animals and later refused assistance or resources to rehome them.
