Carthage seeks Ward 2 City Council member

The City of Carthage is looking for someone to serve as a Ward 2 City Council member.

That's after Councilman Ray West moved out of that Ward 2 and turned in his resignation.

The City is now seeking qualified candidates to fill the vacant seat for the remainder of the term, which expires in April 2027.

You have to be a registered voter living in Ward 2, be at least 21 years old, have no felony convictions and no unpaid city or county taxes or Carthage city fees.

For more information, call the City of Carthage at 417-237-7003.
