Earlier Trash Pickup Times in Joplin Continue Next Week

With extreme temperatures predicted again next week, Republic Services has determined that it will continue their 5 a.m. trash pickup time each day – from Monday, August 3 through Saturday, August 8.

The City of Joplin contracts with Republic Services to provide curbside trash and recycling services to residents of the community.

All curbside trash and recycling customers within Joplin city limits should expect their garbage truck to arrive earlier than normal, so it’s important to get your trash out to the curb on the night before your scheduled service.

Other communities this schedule change impacts are:

Carl Junction, Carthage, Webb City, Carterville, Alba, Asbury, Avilla, Diamond, Duenweg, Lamar, Jasper, Golden City, and Anderson.
