Missouri Congressman wants FCC investigation into Bad Bunny halftime show
Mark Alford says Bad Bunny lyrics could be worse for FCC than Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction

Multiple Republican lawmakers, including West-Central Missouri Congressman Mark Alford, want the FCC to look into Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime show, citing explicit content within his lyrics.
"There’s a lot of information that has come out about the lyrics,” Alford said during an appearance on Newsmax on Tuesday. “I saw the halftime show. … We were switching back and forth with the TPUSA halftime show. The lyrics from what we’ve seen from Bad Bunny are very disturbing.”

The performance was seen by more than 120 million people, toppling previous halftime show records.
"I don't speak fluent Spanish, okay, I know how to ask where the bathroom is -- but if it's true what was said on national television, we have a lot of questions for the entities that broadcast this and we'll be talking with Brendan Carr from the FCC," added Alford. "This could be much worse than the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction."
President Trump even attacked the performance and the NFL for choosing Bad Bunny, saying “it makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”
The commander-in-chief also called the dancing “disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”
