Carthage man indicted by Federal Grand Jury on gun charges

A man from Carthage has been indicted by a federal grand jury in the Western District of Missouri.

A man from Carthage has been indicted by a federal grand jury in the Western District of Missouri.

23-year-old Trenton David Fickle is charged with four counts of illegally transporting firearms, three counts of making false statements to licensed gun dealers when buying guns and a single count of making a false statement to a licensed gun dealer while attempting to buy a gun.

The alleged crimes took place between 2023 and 2025.

Fickle has pleaded not guilty.
