A proposed bill by Republic State Representative Bishop Davidson would require all students to participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity every school day.

While the bill includes caveats for students with disabilities, some legislators believe the bill could extend the current school year if passed.

The bill known as HB 2748 has been referred to 2 different committees and is not yet on a house calendar.
