In Newton County, a woman  is accused of delivering a controlled substance to a minor after she allegedly supplied her 13 and 15-year-old daughters with marijuana.

An arrest warrant was issued Friday for Patricia Jo Cotten of Seneca.

The Probable Cause statement says the daughters had been placed on probation by the  juvenile office and both had tested positive for THC during routine testing.

They also told a witness that they had received marijuana from their mother.

Charges were filed by the Newton County Prosecuting Attorney.

Cotten's bond is set for $3,500 cash or surety.
