Joplin Regional Alliance for Health (JRAH) and Valkyrie UAS Solutions (Valkyrie), in collaboration with Missouri Southern State University (MSSU), will present a demonstration of a rural healthcare transformation innovation project model that leverages long-range drones.
January 22: 8:30 – 9:30 AM Drone test flight & meet flight engineers
Fred G Hughes Stadium Football Field (north end – access field via Ron Richard Athletic Center building)
January 23: 8:30 – 11 AM Special Event: Joplin Rural Healthcare Drone Hub overview and flight demonstration
The event will be hosted at Ron Richard Athletic Center on MSSU’s campus.
A new Joplin, Missouri Healthcare Crone Hub, in collaboration with Joplin’s health systems, would allow Joplin and its four states region to strengthen our rural communities and rural healthcare providers and patient access across our region.
The proposed Hub will support rural healthcare and emergency responders and can also assist with search and rescue operations.
The hub will also include education and research drones for use in student awareness, career education and health science innovation research projects.
