At Monday night's work session, the Joplin city council voted to postpone the feasibility study to see if Joplin needs to get their own city electric utility company.
The reason was too many projects on the agenda that are on strict time limits and the strong work load by city employees.
With this in mind, Joplin also withdrew the RFP that had been published January fifth concerning the study.
