There were three separate non-fatal crashes over the weekend in the four states area.

We saw a T-bone crash near Carl Junction with non-life-threatening injuries when one vehicle failed to yield to another at Fountain Road and Highway JJ/Central City Road. Firefighters had to remove the drivers side door in order to extricate the female driver of the T-boned vehicle. She was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was uninjured.

a 19 year old male suffered moderate injuries when he apparently lost control of the pickup he was driving and it struck a guardrail on an I-49 bridge near the Garrison avenue exit in Carthage Saturday evening, and overturned multiple times. He was transported to a local hospital.

And a Neosho County Kansas Sheriff's patrol truck was struck head-on in a hit and run Friday evening around 9:30. The sheriff's deputy suffered minor injuries and has since returned to duty.

The Kansas Highway Patrol are investigating the hit and run and are asking the public, if you know the identity of the driver or location of the other vehicle, please contact the Neosho County Sheriff’s Office at 620-244-3888.
