First wintry weather of the season causes traffic headaches

Authorities around the area have been reporting several crashes and slide offs due to the wintry weather.

Joplin Police tell Newstalk KZRG they worked multiple crashes due to deteriorating road conditions.

With a continued chance of light snow and wintry mix tonight, they are asking everyone to be safe and practice safe driving habits:
