Groundbreaking held for future home of Carthage Farmers Market

The Carthage Chamber of Commerce Tuesday celebrated the groundbreaking of the Kolpin Family Pavilion – the future home of the Carthage Farmers Market!

Earth was turned at the future location of the structure at 122 Grant Street in Carthage.

It's a milestone Chamber leaders say celebrates what makes Carthage special: neighbors supporting neighbors, families gathering, and a community that continues to grow stronger together.

The McCune-Brooks Healthcare Foundation is partnering with the Carthage Farmers Market , HERE4Carthage, The Ruth I. Kolpin Foundation, The Steadley Foundation, The Boylan Foundation, and all other major partners and donors to create a space that not only expands access to fresh, local produce but also builds a healthier, stronger community.

The planned pavilion will be a hub where farmers, bakers, makers, and neighbors come together to connect, share, and thrive.
