U.S. Small Business Administration opens Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Neosho

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) right here in Newton County to assist impacted businesses, homeowners, and renters.

 Newton County DLOC Location:

Newton Emergency Management Office
202 W. Brook Street, Neosho, MO 64850
Open Monday–Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Scheduled to operate through Friday, July 11, 2025, with a possible extension.

At the DLOC, SBA representatives are available to:

  • Answer questions about disaster loans
  • Help with the application process
  • Offer support to both businesses and individuals

SBA Disaster Loans Include:

  • Business Physical Disaster Loans – Up to $2 million for damage to real estate, equipment, inventory, etc.
  • Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) – For businesses experiencing hardship due to the disaster
  • Home & Personal Property Loans – Up to $500,000 for homeowners and $100,000 for renters

Application Deadlines:

  • Physical Damage: August 22, 2025
  • Economic Injury: March 23, 2026
