Carl Junction City Council votes to suspend Mayor Mike Moss

The Carl Junction City Council has voted to suspend Mayor Mike Moss.
The vote was 6 to 2.
The motion to suspend the mayor comes after Council member James Shanks alleged the Mayor repeatedly referred to female employees of City Administrator Steve Lawver as "Steve's Harem."
Outside counsel was hired during the most recent Carl Junction City Council meeting to consult about the ethics complaint filed against Moss.
