McDonald County teacher charged with statutory rape

A McDonald County teacher turned herself in Monday morning in McDonald County. 41-year-old Joelle Stark is charged with statutory rape in the second degree. Stark posted $10,000 surety bond.

A former high school student says Stark touched him inappropriately and took him to her house for sex between 2016 and 2018, The McDonald County School District has placed Stark on administrative leave during the investigation.
