City of Carthage settles lawsuit with former City Administrator

The City of Carthage announced on Tuesday it has settled its lawsuit with its former City Administrator Greg Dagnan.

The settlement was authorized by Midwest Public Risk Management Fund - MPR - the company that provides liability insurance for the City of Carthage.

The company recommended a settlement to the City in the lawsuit.

The City's only financial contribution was its $1,000 deductible.

The City of Carthage, as part of the resolution, made no admission of liability or wrongdoing.
