Coffeyville man charged with attempted murder in Montgomery County, Kansas

In Montgomery County, Kansas, 60-year-old Norman D. Starr of Coffeyville is charged with attempted murder following an incident Tuesday morning.
Court papers say Starr, who was arrested later in the day on Tuesday, is charged in Montgomery County with several crimes.
Starr allegedly fired a gun in the direction of Elizabeth Battaglear multiple times.
The charges reportedly include first degree attempted murder: criminal discharge of a firearm; aggravated battery and making a criminal threat.
