Third Thursday is planned in downtown Joplin tonight and it's sure to draw a big crowd, especially because of the beautiful weather.
PRESERVED_BLOCK_1 Third Thursday is Joplin’s premiere community cultural event. Every Third Thursday, March through October, thousands of people gather on Main Street in Downtown Joplin to enjoy local artisans, music, entertainment, and food.
There'll be lots to see and do for the whole family from live music, shopping, and art demonstrations.
Third Thursday kicks off at 5:30 p.m, but just a reminder if you drive through Main Street, the street closes at 3:30 between 1st and 7th streets.
The event wraps up at 8:30 p.m.
At tonight's Third Thursday, the City of Joplin will be distributing a survey to tell the City what you think about recycling in Joplin.
What types of recycling would you like to see?
That booth will be located in front of City Hall in the 600 block of South Main.
Grab the entire family and come out. You'll be glad you did!
