Saturday morning tractor-trailer accident temporarily blocks I-44

A tractor-trailer unit unit crashed on I-44 at the Main Street overpass around 7:30 Saturday morning.
The accident took place during morning thunder storms.
That caused the eastbound lanes of the Interstate to be temporarily blocked off near the Missouri 43/Main Street area.
The trailer, which contained vegetables, reportedly lost part of its load.
Eastbound travelers on the Interstate were diverted off I-44 at exit 6 to avoid the blocked-off area.
