Man from Verona ticketed for DWI after Lawrence County accident

A man from Verona, Missouri charged after a car crash in Lawrence County just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Jeffrey L. Russell was arrested for DWI with Physical Injury; Careless and Imprudent Driving; No Seatbelt; and Leaving the Scene of an Injury Crash.
The car of an 18-year-old girl from Verona was hit from the rear by Russell's vehicle.
She had minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Russell was taken to the Lawrence County Jail for processing and was later released.
