Carthage couple charged with exploiting elderly woman

A husband and wife from Carthage, Missouri, have now both been charged with allegedly exploiting an elderly victim out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Casey Harris joins his wife, Wendy, in being accused of stealing from a 70-year-old woman to the tune of more than $230,000.

The two own and co-own Harris Renovations LLC and also allegedly used $90,000 to complete construction and renovation jobs for other paying clients.

Both face multiple felony charges related to their alleged crimes.

One judge has already recused herself from the case as the investigation continues to unfold.
