One man arrested at Aurora apartment house after AMPD serves warrant

One man is in custody in Lawrence County after a narcotics search warrant was served at an Aurora apartment house late Thursday night.
Several subjects were found in the home.
A child was taken into protective custody.
Methamphetamine ready for sale was found at the residence.
The target of the investigation, 38-year-old Michael Smith of Aurora, was arrested.
Police say he is a prior felon.
Smith was charged with delivering a controlled substance. He is being held without bond in the Lawrence County Jail.
