Texas capital murder suspect arrested near Columbus Kansas

A capital murder suspect arrested in southeast Kansas Thursday.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, US Marshal Service and Kansas Highway Patrol arrested 32-year-old Leroy Nmi Luna at a home in rural Columbus.

Luna had a warrant out of Hidalgo County, Texas, and seems to be connected to a case in January involving his relation, where a 16-year-old was shot and killed over a "drug deal gone wrong".

He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail pending extradition to back to southern Texas.
