Republic Services suspends residential trash collection routes

Republic Services has notified the City of Joplin that they again will not be running any residential trash collection routes on Thursday Feb 20th.
Republic Services says they will collect trash for these impacted customers on their next service day, taking all accumulated trash.
Repubic said in a Facebook message If they are able to drive routes on Friday, they will resume the normal pickup schedule servicing Friday.
Side streets covered by snow pose a particular problem for Republic drivers.
