Gunfire reported near Joplin Bar District; Police investigation underway

The Joplin Police Department is investigating gunfire that erupted around 2 a.m. Saturday morning on West 5th Street, near the Joplin Bar District.
Reports say approximately 15 shots were heard by people in the area.
Streets were reportedly blocked off for a time.
Bullet holes were reportedly found in vehicles in the area.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
