Joplin Police spring Citizens Police Academy starts next month

The Joplin Police Department will be holding a spring Citizens Police Academy starting February 6th.  

Officer Lacy Baxter told Newstalk KZRG:    

“It's a 14 week program every Thursday.  It's a different class on the police department and how we do things and what's going on behind the curtain.  People like to think that they really know what's going on because of their opinions and what they see on TV and movies and then actually, they have no idea what's going on, and we don't sugar coat anything.   We're going to show. you.”
