Shots fired in the Joplin Bar District; One man taken to the hospital

Gunfire in downtown Joplin.
The Joplin Police Department tells NewsTalk KZRG shots were fired between 5th and 6th on South Joplin Street a few minutes after midnight.
Police say a 22-year-old may was taken by ambulance to a Joplin hospital.
He is reported to be in stable condition.
Several people were taken to the Joplin Police Department for questioning.
There is reportedly no threat to the public at this time.
