Joplin man seriously injured in lawn tractor accident

A man driving a Craftsman Lawn Tractor on Highway 43, about 4 miles south of Seneca was seriously injured in a crash over the weekend.
It happened around 11:45 Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 47-year-old Joshua A. Thomas of Joplin was traveling north when he lost control of the tractor and it traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
He was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
